A lot of people ask me, why is that I promote doing online business so much?
Why is that I recommend all the businesses to have an online presence?

So I thought of taking out some time in order to come up with an answer that according to me would fit the best.
So in this blog, I am gonna give you the major benefits of doing business online.
Here’s what I came up with.

ADVANTAGES OF DOING BUSINESS ONLINE

1. LOCATION INDEPENDENCE

The Internet has completely changed the work culture now.

You no longer have to visit your office every day to run your business. When you have your business online, you can operate your business from anywhere, anytime you want.


And for that, all you need is a laptop and access to the Internet. That’s it. It is almost like you are carrying your business in your bag.


The Internet allows you to have flexibility in your working hours, which means you can adjust your working hours according to what suits you the best.
So next time if your family is planning on a vacation trip or your friend is having a destination wedding, you don’t need to say No to them.


Also when you visit a cafe next time, have a look around, I am more than sure you would find people sitting in their chair, sipping coffees and operating their businesses, there itself, being connected to the wifi.

This is why I call LOCATION INDEPENDENCE as my key advantage of running your business online.

2. GLOBAL REACH

The Internet lets you market your services/products irrespective of your geographical position which means you are able to advertise your products/services anywhere you want to, around the globe, which obviously increases the reach of your business, making it global.

Well if you own a traditional business you can focus or target your local audience until the day you are ready to expand your business in other cities too.

So online business is basically a 24*7 business with no boundaries or limitations, and by that I want you to understand your business would be capable of producing revenue around the clock, even when you are asleep.

If you own a business, no matter online or offline, let me tell you, that your first priority should be establishing relationships with your customers.


Building relationships with customers gives you a better understanding of what your customers are looking for, what do your customers want, what do they need, or even desire and if done in the right way, your business can end up having repeated customers, congratulations already.
It’s simple, know the demand, and just supply. If you don’t, someone else will.

But how exactly do you build relationship with your customers?

Well, it is a process, it is almost like slow money. Building a relationship with customers takes time, it cannot happen overnight.

The time it takes depends on the experience your customers have doing business with you.

Also, the idea is to keep your customers engaged as much as you can and at the same time impressing them with your services, exceeding their expectations by just delivering a product faster than your customers expected it to reach their home.

Also, your business should focus on customer service, how you treat your customers is what your customers are gonna tell others about you. Recommendations are the key.

It gives you the best opportunity to interact with your customers directly.
You can post pictures/videos or even details about your products on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, etc.

It is a great way of telling people how is it that you are gonna make their life easier.
You can do a few inexpensive giveaways, ask for feedback every now and then, put out stories so your customers can respond to them, make them rate your products or even do surveys, and a lot more.
